Quality
Process
Our translation process involves three main steps: translation – editing – proofreading (TEP) and a final quality assessment (QA) performed by our project manager. Each of the three steps in the TEP process is performed by three different certified linguistic teams.
For large projects we usually develop a comprehensive glossary of terms specific to the client’s project. This process is managed by our terminology manager, his responsibility is to receive, interpret, convert and implement terms via a dynamic glossary that is distributed and integrated across our teams of linguists. We combine tools and processes to ensure that the correct terms are implemented at all times, combining accuracy with time-efficiency. This process provides consistency of terminology of the text, while allowing each linguist to submit adaptations and modifications where he/she deems appropriate.

Linguists
To obtain the highest quality translated texts, we use only high caliber linguists with years of experience in the industry.
Our translators must:
pass rigorous subject–specific language tests prior to collaboration;
be language experts within their language pair, posses expert knowledge in the subject matter and have mastery in writing in their respective language;
-
work according to our official translation service regulations.
Our linguists use translation glossaries, up-to-date dictionaries and industry-specific terminology tools. Along with glossaries, we in Easy Talk use translator style guides that are the other key 'preventive' measure for translation success. By applying style guides, we can accurately outline the expected style and tone for the translated material.
Quality standards
ISO 9001:2000
Effective application of ISO 9001:2000, including continual improvement and the prevention of nonconformity, helps us to ensure consistency and improvement in working practices that meet the requirements of business as well as the broader needs of a globally-minded society. Implementation of this international standard resulted in application of consistent business processes, better services quality and the increase in the company’s market share.
EN 15038:2006
Designed specifically for the translation industry, the EN15038:2006 standard specifies the requirements for:
- The translation process itself including commissioning, translation, proofreading, review, project management, quality control, traceability and delivery;
- The human resources;
- The contractual framework with the client.
Due to implementation of EN 15038:2006 standard, the quality of our services improved, which in turn caused an increase in the number of our clients and translators.
